Our mission at Westside Farmers Markets is to champion local farmers, food purveyors, and the surrounding neighborhoods west of I-75 by fostering long-term sustainability through accessible, community-centered markets. We are dedicated to preserving, cultivating, and expanding a vibrant local food culture by creating authentic spaces where everyone can connect, enjoy fair food, and embrace healthy lifestyles.
Additionally, we focus on educating our community about sustainable practices and healthy living, while supporting producers who are committed to nurturing the earth.

A Food Desert is an urban area where access to affordable, high-quality fresh food is limited. Neighborhoods like Castleberry Hill, Ben Hill, and many others in west and southwest Atlanta fall into this category. At Westside Farmers Markets, our goal is to eliminate the food desert status of these communities by improving access to nutritious and affordable food.
